WE LOVE OUR ALUMNI!
The Women's Rowing team has a long history at UC Davis. From its founding, through its time as an NCAA Division II and Division I team, and continuing today as a competitive club team, we have had many incredibly strong women come through our boathouse. We are extremely grateful for their continued support!

Levitate by Tasha Miller
Check out the song Levitate written by Tasha (Jablonski) Miller, one of our alumni! Tasha was on the team her junior and senior year (94-96) and wrote this song about rowing after being reconnected with the sport through her son, Billy Miller.
“This song is for all of us. "Learn to learn from life and levitate." Name your values. My #1 is honesty. Be well. Go higher. Because you can. I wrote Levitate, because I was enamored by my son’s rowing team at the University of Oregon. The sport of rowing relates more directly to life than anything I've ever known. I rowed for University of California at Davis, then later coached the Varsity rowing teams at Lewis and Clark College. The “unofficial music video“ for Levitate (which I made before having added the symphony onto the track and mastering it) features Billy and his hard-working crew racing at the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships at Lake Natoma in Sacramento, California, April 30 - May 1, 2022. They gave that race EVERYTHING they had and I hope they are as proud of themselves as I am of them. GO DUCKS! Higher, faster and with more intent today than you had yesterday.
And to my alma mater, UCDavis… U! C! D! Go Ags! Fight, fight, fight!”
